The regular Kansas quail and pheasant season runs from November 14, 2026, through January 31, 2027. A youth and disability season is offered November 7–8, 2026.
Kansas allows a daily bag limit of 4 cock pheasants and 8 quail, with possession limits of 16 pheasants and 32 quail. Pheasants must be taken as cocks, and harvested birds must retain identifying proof of sex while being transported.
