Shoshone Prairie Adventures is a Kansas-based hunting outfitter dedicated to providing exceptional guided hunting experiences on quality private ground. From whitetail and turkey to waterfowl, quail, and pheasant, we combine prime habitat, local knowledge, and a passion for the outdoors to create hunts worth remembering.

Johnathan Roberts
Johnathan Roberts is a partner and advisor with Shoshone Prairie Adventures, providing strategic guidance on business development, partnerships, and long-term growth. A passionate outdoorsman, he brings extensive business experience and industry knowledge to help deliver exceptional hunting experiences while supporting conservation and stewardship of the land.
Jay Roberts
Jay Roberts is an owner and principal of Shoshone Prairie Adventures. A life-long hunter who has had the opportunity to hunt around the globe, Jay’s real passion is whitetail, waterfowl and upland hunting in the heartland. Jay has been hunting in Kansas for fifteen years and acquired and managed several farms including developing several duck impoundments.
Peyton Merideth
Peyton Merideth is the CEO of Shoshone Adventure Consulting, bringing decades of outdoor experience, business leadership, and trusted relationships to the organization. Raised in Alaska and shaped by a lifetime of hunting and outdoor adventure, Peyton has traveled extensively throughout Africa and across the United States pursuing exceptional hunting experiences.
Joe Johnson
Growing up in Colorado, I started guiding as soon as I was old enough to get a driver’s license. Over the years that's meant chasing elk and mule deer through the Rockies, guiding fishing on remote Alaska rivers, and never missing a cold snowy morning in the blind for mallards and geese. I have always had a soft spot for hunting cagy old whitetail bucks, and there is no better place than Kansas.
Trevor Olsen
Raised in Central Kansas, I developed a passion for hunting and the outdoors at an early age, beginning my hunting journey at five. With more than 16 years of guiding experience, I’m proud to help hunters create lasting memories while sharing the land, wildlife, and traditions that mean so much to me.
Faith, family, and freedom guide everything I do. Integrity, honesty and humility serves as my foundation.
Billy Eldridge
Billy Eldridge is a partner with Shoshone Prairie Adventures and a lifelong resident of central Kansas. He grew up hunting waterfowl, deer and turkey and has decades of experience guiding in the area. Billy also brings a strong small-business and entrepreneurial background to the team, along with a deep understanding of Kansas hunting traditions, wildlife, land management, and the local landscape, helping create exceptional experiences for visiting hunters.
